It is very easy to know for sure you're going to Heaven! God loves you and wants you to be with Him in heaven, but you have to understand four things from His Word.

1. 1. Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;

   Have you ever told a lie or been angry? God calls that sin. Because we have all sinned at least once, we all fall short of God's standard (glory).

2. 2. Romans 6:23a The wages of sin is death...

   A "wage" is a payment for something you do. When a person works, they get paid. But the wages of sin isn't good, we "earn" or get paid "death" because of the bad things we do!

   Because we sin, God can't accept us into heaven until that sin is paid for. But we can't pay for our sin ourselves without going to the place called hell for eternity, but someone has to...God said He would pay for us!

3. 3. Romans 6:23b ...BUT the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

   God gave us a gift! Instead of us having to die and pay for our sin in Hell, God sent his only Son Jesus, to die for us to pay OUR sin debt! Isn't that great!

   Jesus dying "for us" is God's gift so we can go to heaven!

   BTW: A gift can't be bought or earned, only received...

4. 4. Romans 10:9, 13 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved!

   All you need to do is CONFESS your sin to God, ask Him to forgive you believing He will, and ask Jesus to take you to Heaven when you die! That's it!

   You can pray a simple prayer like this prayer:
      "Dear Jesus, please forgive me for my sin; please come into my heart and save me, and take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you Jesus for saving me, Amen."
